Recently Indian intelligence agencies have asked the central government to block or issue advisories against the use of total 52 apps that are linked to China. The agencies which reported it are concerned about these apps as they extract a huge amount of data from Indian Users and not safe to use.
Apps reported by the agencies include a total of 52 apps which includes TikTok, ShareIt, Bigo Live, Club Factory, Shein, Helo, Tencent etc.
What types of apps are the Indian intelligence agencies want us to stay away from you ask?

E commerce apps and platforms:

File Sharing apps:

Other utility Apps:
- Vault hide

- Virus cleaner

It is recommended that you check your devices for any of such apps in the list and if found, then it would be wise to use them cautiously. If any of these apps are pre installed on your smartphone(most of Chinese smartphones has it.) and you don’t use them, it would be wise to uninstall them from your device.
