ZEE5 is an Indian online video streaming service run by Essel group via its subsidiary Zee Entertainment Enterprises. ZEE5 has over 150 million subscribers.

Hacker named with nick “John Wick” and “Korean Hackers” claimed to have hacked the streaming service and are now threatening to sell the database on marketplaces all over the dark web.

Kanishk Tagade from Quick cyber confirmed the hack of the Indian video streaming service ZEE5 on Twitter.

The alleged hackers contacted Kanishk claiming to have stolen over 150GB of live data from ZEE5. The attackers have threatened to release the database and code in public for open sale.
