After the public protests on the streets in Minneapolis city and all around the country, another kind of attack has been done on the police. A cyber attack on police websites by Anonymous group. The hacktivist group Anonymous hacked the site of the Minneapolis police department in a promised retribution for the death of George Floyd occurred during an arrest.
Anonymous later on posted a video on one of their social page on Facebook and took the responsibility of the attack. The video post accused police of having “Horrific track record of violence and corruption.”
In the video, the guy wearing a hoodie and guy Fawkes mask ended it by saying “That they would be exposing the crimes done by the police to the world.”
The type of cyber attack done on the website is was denial of service attack.
