In a Security incident, some data of paycheck protection program(PPP) applicants was exposed to SBA-authorized lenders and their vendors, Bank of America disclosed.
The data that exposed may include
- business address
- Tax identification numbers
As well as other information regarding applicant. other information that may have been exposed belonging to the applicant are:
- name
- address
- Social Security Number
- Phone number
- Email address
- Citizenship
Bank of America notes this does not affect the submission of PPP loan applications to the SBA. This incident happened when bank was working with US treasury and Small business Administration to process more than 305,000 ppp loan application.
